The ITSANET success case has the particularity of being the implementation of software for a network of regional logistics operators, present throughout Latin America. Argentina, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Venezuela were the countries where GlobalTech implemented its solutions. GT WMS® and GT TMS®
The Challenge
Based on the successful outcome achieved in Argentina, where the network of companies was originated, and after reviewing different local solutions in the different countries where they have a presence, they chose GlobalTech's complete suite as the solution to be implemented in all the members of the ITSANET network.
The initial challenge faced by the project was to meet the different needs and particularities presented by each country's members. To do this, GlobalTech surveyed all the procedures applied by the different companies, applied good logistics practices concepts to improve their efficiency, and then systematized them with its logistics software suite. Once the software was implemented, the next challenge was to provide adequate support for a highly intensive operation, provided by a company that was thousands of kilometers away.
The Solution

The evolution of the project was planned with a gradual progress work plan, according to the priority assigned to each operation and country, especially trying to cover those customers to whom ITSANET provides regional service. The implementation of the DEPOT WMS and TRANSPORT TMS modules with MOBILE has been achieved so far in the member companies in Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
El proyecto permitió a ITSANET la sistematización de sus operaciones de warehouse y distribución en Latinoamérica, aplicando tecnología RF en toda su operación; integrando la solución con tecnología web para que sus clientes tengan visibilidad en línea de lo que sucede en su cadena logística, así como su inventario. Finalmente, se logró una extensa integración con los sistemas propios de los clientes de los miembros de la red.
